CFTA history
CraftsTech Academy began in 2020 as Doyenne Beauty Academy, a specialized beauty institution focused on practical training, particularly in product formulation and brand development. The academy trained and mentored aspiring beauty professionals, many of whom have gone on to launch successful beauty brands and businesses. As the institution grew, it became clear that the vision extended beyond beauty. There was a greater need for practical skills that enable individuals to create income and build their own ventures rather than depend solely on traditional employment. This realization shaped a broader direction for the school. In 2025, under the leadership of its founder, Ms. Emmanuella Abena Agyeman Asamoah, the institution was rebranded as CraftsTech Academy and officially relaunched in 2026 as a diverse skills development academy. The expanded vision focuses on equipping both women and men with hands on, market relevant skills across multiple fields, including areas traditionally overlooked or gender stereotyped. Today, CraftsTech Academy is committed to raising confident leaders and founders who complete their training ready to create opportunities, build sustainable businesses, and contribute meaningfully to their industries.
